Episode One

Norbert, producer and television station proprietor had told Mariella, his private life partner that he was leaving for London. She phones the hotel where he usually resides but find he is not there. In reality, he was in a local hotel room with Janice, Mariella’s best friend, who was very ambitious to reach popularity at all means. What is Norbert’s destiny? This thriller combines the present with past events which have led to the story’s outline.

Episode Two

In this second episode, investigations are under way after Norbert’s assassination. Hotel employees tell the police how a woman had called at the hotel at night. Flashbacks from the past demonstrate how everytime Janice had tried to do something, her parents were always against. Even at her exams; if she passed they would say that the marks were not enough and if she failed they beat her. So, what would their reaction be after she has found an opportunity on television?

Episode Three

Janice’s childhood was all but easy. Her father used to beat her, and if she escapes, it was her mother’s turn, though she was always on his side. Janice is not always believed and the lack of love from her parents drives her to revenge herself and try everything to succeed, even in a dishonest way. In other times, we also notice the difficulties Mariella had to face when she was introduced to television. Everyone was against her, except Norbert.

Episode Four

Mariella is arrested suspected of Norbert’s murder. Janice tells her colleagues at the station that the police have grounds to suspect that Mariella had a Russian partner in crime. In the meantime, Mariella’s programme is being presented by Janice who accomplishes her task with great confidence. During the programme’s allotted time for live telephone call ins, Janice’s father calls and accuses her in public. Janice remains calm and answers back with other allegations.

Episode Five

Prior to Norbert’s murder, Janice found out of her father’s secret relation with Mariella. Norbert was aware of all the story and had every proof of the situation. He decides that Janice must take Mariella’s place, both at work and in his private life. After the assassination, Janice walks into the boardroom during a board meeting. When she is shown the way out, she takes out a contract making her main shareholdewr of the station. Norbert was made to sign that contract at Janice’s request.
