Episode One Name: ZIGARELLA by Joe Julian Farrugia New offices were built to house the Public Relations Section in the Environment Ministry. All the furniture, equipment and files were transferred and everything is set for work. Molly, the Principal’s wife suggests that the new offices should be opened officially. For such an occasion, the Minister is invited to declare the offices open. All preparations are made, journalists are present to cover the event, but… Episode Two Name: FLUS by Joe Julian Farrugia Frederick’s expenses are increasing every day and asks Fedele if he could do some overtime. A letter from the Finance Dept insists that all sections must abide by their budget. Frederick tries to limit all other expenses in order to have enough for his overtime. Fedele and Molly are worried that their children do not want to work. Somehow Alexis always brings something home, but Kevin has to think how to make some earnings himself. Episode Three Name: SUPERSTIZZJONI by Joe Julian Farrugia Catherine is reluctant to work on a file because of its number: thirteen. Everyone is amazed that she is superstitious. Alexis is afraid after going out with a guy who was all the time opening an umbrella under a roof. Molly returns home terrified because a black cast crossed her road. Are superstitions true? Ask Frederick what happened when one day a young female journalist visited his office!!! Episode Four Name: XEWQAT by Joe Julian Farrugia Fedele and Molly wish that their two children start to work and find a suitable partner for their future. Catherine wishes that after death, her organs would be given to someone who really needs them. Charlie’s wish is that someday he would go out with Sharon. And Frederick’s wish? It’s only a dream… Episode Five Name: MODELLING by Joe Julian Farrugia In order to make up for one of her usual lies, Alexis has to start modelling. Sharon imagines Molly modelling to show her resentment towards her. Frederick asks his wife if they could go to watch a modelling show one day, but gets a scolding. Alexis needs to go to Ibiza for a modelling show and all the family goes with her. Fedele, but, does not have time to tell his colleagues… Episode Six Name: WEGHDIET by Joe Julian Farrugia Before the section was opened, the workers were promised a course about public relations abroad, a promise which now seems impossible. Charlie is all out to get the promise honoured and is ready to suggest industrial action. Alexis says that one of her boyfriends promised her a trip on a cabin cruiser around the Mediterranean. In the meantime, Frederick overhears a conversation between Fedele and Gerry… Episode Seven Name: PIZ by Joe Julian Farrugia It’s Charlie’s birthday and he buys cakes for everyone. Frederick remains alone at the office an dis heavily confused when the Minister phones him. Molly goes on a diet and Sharon is happy not to eat her cake and leave it for Molly to put on calories. At the office, the workers decide to go to a gym. Frederick’s wife does not let him go with them and when they tell Fedele, his wife Molly wants to come too!!! Episode Eight Name: PROGRAMM by Joe Julian Farrugia In order to make the public aware of environmental issues, Catherine comes up with an idea of a television programme. The station offers air time free as long as it takes the adverts. But funds for the paying a presenter are impossible as the programme was not considered at budget time. Fedele suggests that someone from the office presents. He wants someone capable to interview him, as the section’s Principal. Molly wants to present herself but everything goes topsy turvy … Episode Nine Name: SIGRIETI by Joe Julian Farrugia The department is organising a census to establish the amount of rural property in the country. Frederick boasts that he has worked in many a census and that he is the only one in the office who knows what the process is all about. He tries to teach all the others as if they were all school infants. Therefore Charlie and Sharon decide to play a joke on him... Episode Ten Name: INVESTIMENT 16th June 2005 at 20.45 (and repeated on Sunday at 15.00) Budget time is approaching and the department needs to spend all the funds available or else they would have to be returned to the Finance Dept. Catherine suggests the purchasing of a statue of St. Joseph for the department’s yard. Charlie wants the money to be spent on the workers. Fedele consults the Minister and they decide to buy a new software to enhance the efficiency between their department and the agricultural centres around the island. But the morning after… Fedele is featured on the paper! Episode Eleven Name: VAGANZA by Joe Julian Farrugia Molly meets some schoolday colleagues and ask her if she wants to go to Milan with them the day after. She accepts and starts imagining herself in the middle of all those shops selling state of the art clothes by the best fashion designers. Fedele is worried about the housework, but thinks that with a little help from his children, somehow, life goes on. But Kevin shows him that he will do nothing and Alexis takes the occasion of residing elsewhere for a few days. Therefore, Fedele has to take some days leave… Episode Twelve Name: PARTY by Joe Julian Farrugia A University student goes to the office to get some help in her thesis about public relations. After a lot of boasting by Frederick, she notices that alone, he does not know how to answer a single question she asks him. It’s Alexis’ birthday, the real one, not a lie as usual. Her parents decide to organise a party. At first, Alexis is reluctant, but…
