Following today's interesting session about how you can set INTERNET EXPLORER to control the website content for kids.
Here are the steps to do Parental Control on the INTERNET EXPLORER
Tools-Internet Options- choose the CONTENT tab - In the CONTENT ADVISOR Section choose ENABLE - choose APPROVED SITES - List down the sites you wish your kids to enter, one after the other (Choose Always if you wish your kids to always see this website, if you have a website that you NEVER wish the kids to see it try NEVER) - Choose OK when ready.
You will be promoted to give a PASSWORD to lock this option.
Subsequently you can UNLOCK or DISABLE the Internet CONTENT by choosing DISABLE and input the password.
Here is the answer to your question that we have received today regarding the possibility to LOG ON with a particular user on a computer and does not show the INTERNET EXPLORER SHORTCUT!!
STEP ONE - Create a new user
» Go Start - Settings - Control Panel - Choose USER ACCOUNTS
STEP TWO - Apply restrictions to this new USER
» Go Start - Settings - Control Panel - ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS - Choose ADD / REMOVE Windows Components (allow some time)
» Then UNTICK INTERNET EXPLORER and any other programs you wish to remove.
